lyrics

It's like the seasons don't exist, because nothing ever changes. And my own indecision is the only thing I can blame for it. Well, I've been burning bridges to protect what I've been building. The less you know the better for my new beginnings.

She's the feeling you get when the cop lights come on in your rear-view mirror. That painful reflection on decisions made. I just gotta get out of here, until it fades from my memory.

So, I'm flying out of the country to see what I've been missing. To see if I'll be missing the same things that I left behind me. Then, I'll go back to Indiana to see my friends and family. Will it still feel like Home knowing they've moved on without me?

It's the feeling you get when the cop lights come on in your rear-view mirror. The painful reflection on decisions made, Oh, I've just gotta get out of here. Until it fades from my memory.

I'm not running away. I'm trying to get someplace.
I know to you it must all just look the same.
I'm not running away. I'm trying to get someplace.
You think you know me, but you don't even know me at all.

I'm not running away. I'm trying to get somewhere.
